Join this session for an in-depth look at how to create your own custom style in both ProForm and Unison. Because ProForm and Unison are built on the same platform, all tips and tricks from this session will apply to both products.

Come learn how to customize colors, add your own look and feel, and much more! This session will give you all the basic information you will need to begin your own customizations to any degree. Whether you want to change just a few things, or you want to do a complete overhaul of your course style, this session will give you the starting point you need.

Creating Custom Page Templates

One of the really powerful elements of Unison and ProForm is the ability to create and include your own page types in the tool. This can greatly expand what you are able to do with the tool. In this session we will walk through the process that is required to build your own custom page type. Though the intricacies of coding will not be covered, by the end of this presentation you will be familiar with the steps required to create your own custom page type for Unison and ProForm.

Working with Custom Forms in Unison

Unison comes with powerful customization options, allowing you to create custom page-types, quiz questions, and other custom forms. Unison uses a powerful XML structure to create these forms, but there is a slight learning curve. Come to this session for a (short and fast) ground-up introduction to XML, how to edit these forms, and how to make it work for your custom needs.

PowerPoint Conversion Tips and Tricks in Unison and ProForm

Do you have PowerPoint presentations you want to convert to Flash so you can easily integrate them with the rest of Rapid Intake's awesome interactions? Learn how to sync audio narration with animation and how to embed rather than link audio to make sure your audio is converted properly. Learn how to record speaker-based audio rather than the microphone so you can sync up the animations easily with professionally recorded audio. Learn how to make basic interactivity in PowerPoint that will convert in Unison. Then learn how to bring it all into Unison or ProForm to combine with other Rapid Intake learning features.

The SWiSH Animation Tool

Do you want to add animation and interactivity to your Unison and ProForm courses, but don't have the time to learn Flash? You don't have to! With SWiSH, a Flash-based animation tool available from Rapid Intake, you can create many different interactions more easily than in Flash! This tool can be used to: sync audio with text, create hotspot interactions, easily make simple animations (such as a fade), and so much more!
